He has been a professional musician all his life excelling on piano and saxophone.

Singers he has been involved with include Teresa Brewer, Jerry Vale, Julius Larosa, Julliete, Fat Bob Taylor, Val Brown, Denise Pelley, Al Martino, Tommy Ambrose, Giselle McKenzie, Ricky Nelson, the Everly Brothers, Bobby Vinton and Gene Barry.

Ken Crone has performed with Bill Cosby, Steve Allen, George Carlin, Phyillis Diller, Jack E. Leonard, Henny Youngman, Soupy Sales, Marv Welch and Frank Gorshin. He’s also been on stage with the Four Aces, the Four Freshman, Four Saints, the Mills Brothers and Roy Clark, to name a few.

Ken also worked for a few years in London Ontario, from 1962 - 1967, where led the house band at the Iroquoir Casino. This was the venue for many of the international touring acts of the time and Ken's group backed them all.

At age 82 Ken Crone is still very active and his Trio has been performing to sold-out crowds at Studio One in Chatham.

In these pages Ken brings his expertise to a review of bands in Chatham during the Big Band era. Click on the links to the left to learn more.
